This article covers how to sign in to the ForgeStop Dashboard and what you can do from the home screen. It is the starting point for anyone using the Dashboard for the first time.
Prerequisites
A ForgeStop Dashboard account. New users receive a welcome email during onboarding.
Access to the email inbox associated with your account.
Signing In
The Dashboard uses passwordless sign-in. Instead of a password, ForgeStop emails you a one-time sign-in link each time you log in.
Open your browser and go to dashboard.forgestop.com.
Enter your email address and click Sign in with Email or Touch.
Check your inbox for a message titled Your secret sign-in link from ForgeStop. It usually arrives within one or two minutes.
Click the link in the email. The Dashboard opens automatically in a new tab.
Note: The sign-in link is valid for 15 minutes. If the link expires, return to the login page and request a new one.
The Home Screen
After signing in, you land on the Dashboard home screen. This screen gives you a live view of where your products are being scanned and how your program is performing.
The home screen has three main areas:

Left sidebar | Navigation across Dashboard sections (Analytics, Management, Admin) |
Metric cards (top) | At-a-glance totals for your brand |
Tabs (Map, Scans, Analytics) | Detailed views of your scan data |
Metric Cards
The four cards at the top of the screen stay visible across all tabs. They summarize your program at the brand level for the selected date range.
Card | What It Shows |
Active Tags | Total tags activated across all of your products |
Total Scans | Every scan event recorded in the selected date range |
Unique Scans | Deduplicated count — the same tag scanned by the same device counts once |
Total Products | Number of active products registered in your Dashboard |
Date Range and Refresh
To the right of the metric cards, you will find the date range selector and the Refresh Data button.
Click the date range to choose Last 7 days, Last 14 days, or a custom range. All metrics and tab contents update to match your selection.
Click Refresh Data to pull the most recent scans from ForgeStop's servers. Scan data otherwise refreshes automatically at regular intervals.
The Map Tab
The Map tab is the default view. It displays a world map with a pin at each scan location for the selected date range. Pins are clustered when zoomed out and expand into individual scans as you zoom in.
Click a pin to see a summary popup with the product SKU, scan ID, batch ID, city, country, and scan time. Click Open Scan Page in the popup to drill into the full scan journey (see Scan Details & Product Journey).
Zoom and pan by scrolling, pinching, or dragging.
3D view: Click the 3D toggle in the bottom-right corner to tilt the map and view scan clusters in three dimensions.
Tip: Use the Map tab in a weekly review to quickly spot where your products are moving in the market.
The Scans Tab
The Scans tab displays a filterable table of every scan event. Each row includes:
Column | Description |
Scanned at | Date and time the scan was recorded |
Id | Unique scan identifier |
Product | The product associated with the scanned tag |
Location | City and country of the scan |
Loc. Source | Whether the location is Precise (GPS) or Approximate (IP-based). This depends on the permissions the consumer granted at scan time. |
Status | Authentic, Counterfeit, Rescan, or Invalid |
Coordinates | Latitude and longitude of the scan |
Use the filter bar above the table to narrow results by scan ID or by Location Source. Adjust rows per page and navigate through results with the pagination controls at the bottom.
The Analytics Tab
The Analytics tab summarizes scan activity with four charts:

Scans Over Time | Area chart of scan volume per day across the selected range |
Scans by Product | Donut chart showing which products are driving scan activity |
Scans by Country | Donut chart breaking scans down by country |
Top Scanning Cities | Word cloud sized by scan frequency |
All four charts follow the selected date range.
Troubleshooting
Issue | Solution |
The sign-in email never arrives | Check your spam folder. Wait up to 2 minutes, then request a new link. If it still does not arrive, contact [email protected]. |
The sign-in link says it has expired | Sign-in links expire after 15 minutes. Return to dashboard.forgestop.com and request a new one. |
The map is empty | Confirm the date range covers a period when your products were in market. Click Refresh Data to pull the latest scans. |
Metric cards show zeros | You may have selected a brand with no active tags, or the date range is outside the window when scans occurred. Adjust the date range or switch brands. |
I do not see the Orders or Admin menu | These sections are role-gated. Ask your account admin to review your permissions. |
